The app lists every possible break of the year — a run of working days you book, extended by the weekends and holidays around it — then uses dynamic programming to pick the non-overlapping set that gives the most rest within your budget. At equal rest, it books fewer days.

Yes: 13 French zones. Alsace-Moselle adds Good Friday and December 26; each overseas department or territory has its own Abolition of Slavery day. The rules are checked against the official calendrier.api.gouv.fr API.
